Thread Lift is a minimally invasive rejuvenation technique used for repositioning sagging cheeks, lifting sagging eyebrows, and adjusting asymmetric brows & face. The best candidates for this procedure include both women and men in their thirties through their sixties who want a more youthful appearance, but do not want a conventional full facelift or browlift procedure. Threads are barbed sutures that has been safely used in the body for many years in other medical products. Unlike conventional sutures which are smooth, threads used for facelift purposes have tiny barbs or cogs, that are spaced evenly apart. Once inserted under the skin, they are fixated in an umbrella-like fashion and with tension creates suspension that gently lifts sagging tissues of the brow and face. The new type of threads used are unique in that they have double cogs or barbs.   The length of time the results last varies depending on the age of the patient at the time of the procedure, the degree of sagging, and the number of threads used. The improvements in facial contours may last up to 5 years. This procedure is a safe, conservative and effective one that offers subtle, natural looking results.
