Dr. Wong graduated from The University of Queensland in 1993. He gained his surgical experience from working in various surgical specialties between 1994 - 2000 working in various Queensland Hospitals.

He currently performs many types of cosmetic surgery procedures including Breast Implant (or Augmentation) Surgery, Facelifts, Cosmetic Eyelid surgery, Liposuction as well as skin cancer surgery, vein injections, chemical face peels, anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and photodynamic therapy for skin cancers.

Dr. Wong feels that creating harmony and balance for his patient's face and body is very important.
Cosmetic surgery procedures require both artistic appreciation and technical skills. It is important to create breasts that enhance the women's shape as well as balance her figure.

Dr. Wong completed the Certificate of Emergency and Trauma Management Course in Townsville during his hospital training. He also successfully completed Part 1 of the FRACS (Royal Australasian College of Surgeons) requirements.

In September 2004 Dr. Wong gained the Fellowship of The Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery, having been assessed also by the examiners from the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS) and is currently an international member of The AACS.

He co-won the Contura Scholarship in 2004 and gained experience with plastic surgeons in Copenhagen. He updates his training with regular attendences at Australian Cosmetic Surgery Conferences and workshops as well as overseas Cosmetic Surgery Conferences.

He has attended many overseas Cosmetic meetings including AACS conference in USA, Advanced Workshops in Facial Anatomy in Shanghai, China and Workshops in Asian Blepharoplasty (Asian Eyelid Surgery Training) in Busan, South Korea. Dr. Wong also attended workshops using adipose (fatty tissues) derived adult stem cells added to growth factor rich plasma as dermal fillers (autologous bioactive wrinkle fillers), a new treatment which is currently very popular in Asia.

Dr. Wong is also very experienced with the management of ageing skin and the changes associated with photo-ageing.  He will listen to your concerns, discuss the various treatment options and the realistic outcomes, risks, benefits as well as costs.  He is supported by friendly and dedicated staff to ensure we deliver the best possible service to his patients.
